I started Mata Hari socks with my Blue Moon Sock Candy yarn, but it's just not working. It looks OK here but looks worse when I put it on my leg. So I guess I'll rip it and do something else with the yarn (plain socks). The yarn (cotton/"elite" and much less elastic than other cotton sock yarns I've used) does not hold up well to reworking.

Thanks for the welcome back :-) I've been thinking about making that exact same sock pattern, what is it that you don't like about it? I haven't decided what I wanna make with the silk garden yet... I already started a clapotis with the kureyon that I also bought discounted from webs, so I'm thinking maybe I'll make a big bulky scarf... maybe something "modular" since the colors in Noro are so funky
Oh, I like the pattern, I just don't like it with this yarn. I think the pattern would work better with a solid color and perhaps a thinner yarn, so I will be trying it again.
Lady Eleanor from Scarf Style by Pam Allen looks great with Silk Garden. In fact, here it is in your color, 82! You could always fiddle with the pattern to make it more appropriate for NOLA weather.
