Whose sari now? Mine.

Our house guest's "crafty" gift I mentioned a while ago is a sari. It's very pretty. He said he figured I could make something out of it.
It's very thin:
I have no idea what to do with it. It feels wrong to chop it up, but it's about 15 ft long. Oh, and I don't sew! Any ideas?

That was really thoughtful of him. It does seem wrong to cut it up. I hope someone can suggest something. What's it made of? Cotton? (I have a gorgeous bright red sari I used as a Christmas tree skirt once. I couldn't really think of anything to do with it either.)

I don't know if it's 100% cotton or a cotton blend. For now it's just draped on the guest futon.
