I'm all discombobulated
Today we moved my desk from the third bedroom into the "family room," i.e., the converted garage. The bedroom doesn't have grounded plugs or a cable outlet, so I'd been risking my computer equipment and running a cable over much of the house to have my desk in there. The puppy will be in the family room since it's large and has vinyl floors. She and I can spend a lot of time in here together. I may yet move the desk back and buy a wireless card for the PC since we already have wireless set up for the laptop, but for now, here I am.

my desktop has a linksys USB wireless thingy that works quite well, it just plugs into the back of my comp when i need it and works just as well as a wireless card, i use it when I bring my computer home from school
Did you use the swift to wind these leftovers? How is it?
Thanks, Erin.
Mom, I didn't use the swift for these leftovers because they were not in hanks. I did use the swift for the other Lorna's Laces for my Jaywalkers, though, and it was very speedy. The only minor issue was the swift being so much higher than the winder made the yarn catch on the swift's edge every once in a while. This probably wouldn't happen if I placed them farther apart.
